Six Bachelor’s students from University of Jember, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Maesarani Salsalina Sitepu, Made Artha Putri Ageng, David Davilla, Ariek Bimo Prasetyo, Muhammad Abror Alfarisi, and Ferdi Aleyogi Pranata, have joined the “Independent Study (MBKM)” sponsored by University of Jember. Guided by Asst. Prof. Dr. Idah Andriyani, S.TP., M.T. IPM, Head of Departement Agricultural Engineering, and Miftahul Choiron, S.TP., M.Sc., Ph.D, Head of Departement Agricultural Industrial Technology, they will spend three months as exchange students in the Renewable Energy and Environmental Conservation (REEC) Lab at Chiang Mai University.
After consulting with Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatchawan Chaichana, the students will pursue distinct research topics. Maesarani Salsalina Sitepu and Made Artha Putri Ageng will focus in biomass pyrolysis under guidance of Prof. Nakorn Tippayawong. David Davilla and Muhammad Abror Alfarisi will focus on Agrivoltaic System under guidance of Dr. Suwimon Wicharuck. Ariek Bimo Prasetyo and Ferdi Aleyogi Pranata will focus on Resource Management under guidance of Dr. Nilubon Luangchosiri.
Throughout this exchange program, under the guidance of supervisors Asst. Prof. Dr. Chatchawan and Asst. Prof. Dr. Yuttana Mona, the students look forward to boost strong collaboration within the REEC Lab while enhancing the relationship between Indonesia and Thailand.
